07/24/2002 "Buffy Dissed by the Emmys" Say it loud, once more, with feeling: Buffy was robbed. The best "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" of last season, called "Once More With Feeling" was left off of the Emmy Ballot. Oh, I know. Who cares, really, about the Emmy Awards? The same shows always seem to be nominated; seems like the same ones win. And Russell Crowe is never going to attend the ceremonies and he'll glower threateningly, so why even watch?
But you know...I’m okay with Buffy being snubbed. I like art house films that don’t do well at the box office. I’ve been a huge Mac supporter in a world crawling with PC/Windows. Heck, there are 4,000 reasons to loathe G.W. Bush, but his approval ratings are magically in the 70 percent range. I think the Buffy thing is just par for the course.

Come on, you know Buffy's not ever going to get the respect of a normal, decent show because, well, it isn't a normal, decent show at all. I just feel bad for those actors from it that no one recognizes because they're forced to wear that stupid make-up.
